Carbon Dioxide Emissions

Carbon Dioxide is the primary greenhouse gas emitted through human activities. The US was accounted for emission of carbon dioxide for about 84%. This is disrupting the Carbon cycle which by human activities we are adding more Carbon dioxide and also influencing the ability of forests to remove the carbon dioxide from the atmosphere .

The main cause of this pollution is due to the chemical dumps and nuclear waste.Nuclear waste is produced from industrial, medical and scientific processes that use radioactive material. Industry is a huge source of water pollution, it produces pollutants that are extremely harmful to people and the environment. Oceans are polluted by oil on a daily basis from oil spills, routine shipping, run-offs and dumping. Oil spills make up about 12% of the oil that enters the ocean. The rest come from shipping travel, drains and dumping.

Solid waste pollution is when the environment is filled with nonbiodegradable and non-compostable biodegradable wastes that are capable of emitting greenhouse gases, toxic fumes, and particulate matters as they accumulate in open landfills. These wastes are also capable of leaching organic or chemical compositions to contaminate the ground where such wastes lay in accumulation.
